My job search was getting kind of stale and repetitive, so I started making some resume holders to send out to prospective employers. I used vintage handkerchiefs, napkins, tablecloths, hem-binding tape, canvas, and watercolor paper. I spent a lot of time hand-sewing (tedious - but worth it), and a little bit of time machine sewing. I really enjoyed making these, and I want to start using similar techniques to make other work.

First Post
My blog is effectively a journal of my artistic process. I will use it to record, organize, and keep track of my progresses, as well as my road blocks. I'm planning to post an update of my work every week as a way to reflect on what I have done and keep myself motivated to continue. If you're interested in my work, please check back to stay up to date with what I'm working on. To see my portfolio of work, visit my website: http://christinefredendall.com. To see work that I'm selling, visit my etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/christinefredendall. Thanks for visiting, and feel free to leave comments or contact me personally.
